Uefa Champions League
Bayern Munich v Juventus, Gp A, 19:45

Watch Online Bayern Munich v Juventus live Streaming Review Preview Football Match highlights results Scores in the Uefa Champions League Bayern Munich had a comfortable win in their opening Champions League Group A match over Israeli side Maccabi Haifa a fortnight ago, but know they will face a much tougher test when they host Italian side Juventus, who remain unbeaten in all competitions this season.

Juventus made a great start to their season, winning their opening four Serie A matches at a canter, conceding just one goal in the process. However, they have dipped slightly in recent weeks, dropping points in their last two league matches. They will be looking to get back to winning ways on Wednesday in Munich, although odds of 11/4 (SkyBet) don’t make much appeal.

Bayern are 6/5 (Ladbrokes) to record a victory over the Turin side, although they have not been in brilliant form themselves, and a loss on Sunday at table-topping Hamburg saw Louis Van Gaal’s expensively assembled side drop to seventh place in the Bundesliga.

The Dutchman spent a lot of money in the summer, and also managed to hang on to star player, Franck Ribery, in a bid to regain Bayern’s place as the premier side in the German championship, and also to improve the club’s fortunes in the Champions League. The squad now boasts an array of attacking talent, and the team are capable of playing good football and scoring goals, however, perhaps unusually for a Bayern Munich side, Van Gaal’s team are somewhat weak defensively.

Juventus’ strikers, veteran Italian Alessandro Del Piero (8/1, Ladbrokes) and the in-form Vicenzo Iaquinta (8/1, Ladbrokes) will look to capitalise on this weakness, although since his side are away from home, manager Ciro Ferrara may adopt a more defensive approach in an effort to contain Bayern’s attacking threat.

That threat is led by club record signing Mario Gomez (6/1, Ladbrokes) who arrived in the summer from VfB Stuttgart, who is likely to be joined in attack by Croatian Ivica Olic (7/1, SkyBet) and supported from midfield by the exciting trio of Arjen Robben (9/1, SkyBet), Bastian Schweinsteiger (14/1, Ladbrokes), and the aforementioned Ribery (10/1, Totesport).  Sunday’s loss to Hamburg was the first time that Bayern have failed to score this season, and with those five all capable of scoring, it seems unlikely that they will make it two in a row against Juventus, who are 7/2 (PaddyPower) to keep a clean sheet.
