Watch Online CSKA Moscow v Besiktas live Streaming Review Preview Football Match highlights results Scores in the Uefa Champions League The Spaniard said he hopes to "get the maximum" out of the fixture and condemn the Black Eagles, who have not scored in five matches in all competitions, to a second reverse of the section following Matchday 1's 1-0 home loss to Manchester United FC. Ramos's opposite number, Mustafa Denizli, played down his players' barren run in front of goal, saying that "such a crisis can happen at times".
Juande Ramos, CSKA coach
My [coaching] team and I were quick to adapt to Russian life and Russian football thanks to the people around us at CSKA. We started with defeat at Wolfsburg, but the scoreline did not reflect what happened on the pitch. We fought, played well and had chances, but mistakes at the back prevented us from getting a draw. Now we have our second match at home and we hope to get the maximum out of it. We don't have any priorities in terms of competitions, because in both we have good chances to get a certain result. In the league we have seven matches left, in the Champions League five. It is a positive statistic for us that Beşiktaş haven't scored for five matches, but it's unlikely we will build our gameplan on this. We will play our game. All runs like that end at some point, but our task is to make sure that this one doesn't end against us.
Mustafa Denizli, Beşiktaş coach
We planned to start the Champions League with a victory but, just like CSKA, we lost our first match. Training and effort does not always result in victory but there is a rule in football – the harder you train the faster you get a positive result. For our players and fans the thing we need most now is a victory, which will raise our spirits. I hope tomorrow is the day it happens. Last season we scored more than any other team in Turkey. Scoring is not something you can do by pressuring players. I don't want to push them during this non-scoring spell because such a crisis can happen at times. I hope it will be over: after all we have Nihat, who is not only one of the best in Turkey but the world. We have carefully watched what Juande Ramos has been doing at CSKA and we know of all the changes that are happening under him. The football which they played under Zico and what they are producing now is totally different.
Weekend results
26/09/09 FC Zenit St. Petersburg 2-0 CSKA
(Kežman 45pen, Bystrov 87)
• It was CSKA's first league defeat since Juande Ramos replaced Zico as coach on 10 September. The Spaniard guided the Army Men to victory in his first match in charge on 12 September, a 3-0 defeat of PFC Krylya Sovetov Samara. CSKA had lost six of their previous 13 games in all competitions.
